Грузинские НПО призывают к отставке министра юстиции

Ряд влиятельных НПО в Грузии призвали к отставке министра юстиции Теb Цулукиани с ее позиции, что вызвало резкую реакцию от премьер-министра Георгия Квирикашвили.

Представители НПО сообщили на пресс-конференции в Тбилиси во вторник, что считают, что министр не должна возглавлять процесс консультаций по назначению нового Генерального прокурора.

НПО заявили, что в судебной системе Грузии произошел системный кризис, который, по их утверждению, был результатом неспособности осуществить обещанные реформы. Среди НПО, подписавших заявление: ISFED, GYLA, TI Georgia, EMC, OSGF, Правозащитный центр, IDFI, GDI, статья 42 Конституции, Sapari и другие.

На своей странице в Facebook, премьер-министр Квирикашвили назвал призыв НПО абсурдным.

Недопустимо, чтобы часть НПО говорила на языке ультиматумов и ставило под сомнение этот процесс. Их заявления дают понять, что они пытаются политизировать этот вопрос, что совершенно неприемлемо. Поэтому я призываю их не выходить за рамки своей деятельности и проявлять большую ответственность, если их цель действительно является прозрачный процесс избрания.
