Гахария выдвинут на пост нового премьер-министра Грузии

Георгий Гахария был выдвинут в качестве нового премьер-министра Грузии после вчерашней отставки с поста Мамуки Бахтадзе, который занимал эту должность с 2017 года.

О назначении Гахарии, которая до сих пор занимал пост министра внутренних дел, было объявлено во вторник утром председателем правящей партии «Грузинская мечта» Бидзиной Иванишвили.

Гахария уже представил парламенту на утверждение свой список министров.

Представляя Гахарию средствам массовой информации, Иванишвили сказал журналистам: "Вы и общественность хорошо знаете Георгия Гахария. Я думаю, что он заслуживает того, чтобы его выдвинули на этот пост благодаря его усилиям в качестве бизнес-омбудсмена, затем в качестве министра экономики, а затем в качестве министра внутренних дел. Думаю, парламент обязательно одобрит его кандидатуру."

Выдвижение Гахарии уже вызвало некоторые протесты перед парламентом Грузии. Как министр внутренних дел, Гахария подвергся критике за чрезмерное применение силы силами безопасности против протестующих во время прошедших демонстраций в июле. Однако обстоятельства этих событий остаются неясными.

"The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace," Trump told the Knesset, Israel's parliament, saying a "long nightmare" for both Israelis and Palestinians was over.
