Европейский суд обязал Азербайджан возместить ущерб Хадидже Исмайловой

Европейский суд по правам человека в Страсбурге обязал Азербайджан выплатить почти 17,000 евро журналисту-следователю Хадидже Исмайловой в связи с кампанией шантажа против нее, которая включала в себя размещение в Интернете «секс-видео», снятого без ее ведома.

В решении, опубликованном 10 января, суд заявил, что "не было возможности установить «вне всякого разумного сомнения», что само государство несет ответственность за очень серьезное вторжение в личную жизнь Исмайловой".

Но суд постановил, что в соответствии с Европейской конвенцией о правах человека Азербайджан не выполнил свою обязанность "расследовать действия, которые оскорбляли человеческое достоинство Исмайловой", и защищать ее свободу выражения мнений.

Он обязал Азербайджан выплатить Исмайловой 15,000 евро за ущерб и еще 1750 евро на покрытие судебных издержек.
