Министры-члены Республиканской партии Грузии покидают свои посты в преддверии выборов

Как было объявлено во вторник, два министра-члены Республиканской партии Грузии, уйдут в отставку из коалиционного правительства Грузии в преддверии парламентских выборов, которые должны состоятся 8 октября.

Министр обороны Тина Хидашели и министр по вопросам примирения и гражданского равенства Паата Закареишвили покидают сво посты в связи с началом избирательной кампании. Еще в марте этого года было объявлено о том, что партии, входящие в состав коалиции "Грузинская мечта", которая находится у власти в Грузии с 2012 года, примут участие в выборах по отдельности, не под одним номером, как это было в 2012.

Об отставках объявил Давид Усупашвили, который возглавит список Республиканской партии на предстоящих выборах. Третий же член кабинета министров от Республиканской партии, Гигла Агулашвили, министр охраны окружающей среды, принял решение покинуть партию и остаться в правительстве.

Согласно Усупашвили, республиканцы хотели сохранить кабинет министров в том же составе до выборов, но их партнеры по коалиции "Грузинская мечта" отвергли эту идею. Республиканцев в правительстве мало, но мы "многое сделали" для Грузии, заявил он журналистам.

"Мы продолжим борьбу за лучшую Грузии. Мы объявим о планах партии и нашем предвыборном списке в ближайшие дни."
