До конца года в вопросе урегулирования нагорно-карабахского конфликта не следует ожидать каких-либо существенных изменений. Подобное мнение на пресс-конференции 13 ноября выразил заместитель директора Института Кавказа Сергей Минасян. 

"В ближайшее время в ходе переговорных процессов невозможно достижение окончательного компромиссного решения. Переговоры будут продолжаться в том же духе, сохранится военно-политический статус-кво. Урегулирование конфликта в ближайшем будущем технически невозможно", - отметил эксперт, добавив, что главнейшим аргументом такой позиции является то, что переговорный процесс безрезультатно продолжается около двух десятков лет.

В этой связи он также заметил, что одним из главных достижений текущего года является то, что Азербайджану не удается изменить не только статус-кво, но и формат переговорного процесса.
