Есть сообщения об инцидентах на линии соприкосновения, разделяющей армянские и азербайджанские силы вокруг нагорно-карабахского конфликта.

Азербайджанские СМИ со ссылкой на источники в Минобороны Азербайджана сообщают, что один азербайджанский солдат был ранен во время перестрелки, которая, похоже, происходила в различных регионах в зоне конфликта в четверг вечером и рано утром в пятницу.

Обе стороны регулярно сообщают о нарушениях прекращения огня и с этим растет озабоченность, что эти инциденты могут легко распространиться до приминения тяжелого вооружения и войск, дислоцированных в регионе с обеих сторон.

Усилия международных посредников по урегулированию ситуации на линии фронта дали только скромные результаты.

Following a three-day tour of Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman last week in which he oversaw the signing of several agreements, including in the defense sector, President  Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey aims to purchase dozens of Eurofighters and other advanced jets as a stopgap measure to strengthen its fleet until its domestically developed fifth-generation KAAN fighter jet becomes operational.
