Иран спустил на воду эсминец в Каспийском море. Президент Ахманидежад повторно заверил прибрежные страны о благих намерениях Ирана и назвал Каспий "морем братства".

Иран спустил на воду в Каспийском море эсминец собственного производства.

Выступая на специальной церемонии по данному случаю в порту Бендер-Энзели президент Махмуд Ахмадинежад заявил, что развитие и прогресс Ирана служит безопасности в регионе Каспийского моря, как сообщает иранское агентство новостей IRNA. "Я совершенно уверен, что прикаспийские государства довольны развитием Ирана и рассматривают это с точки зрения их собственной безопасности", сказал он.

Президент Ирана заявил, что Каспий является морем братства, прочной безопасности и борьбы с экстремизмом и угрозами стоящими перед народами региона, добавив, что политика Ирана основана на укреплении солидарности, дружбы и сближении между народами.

Эсминец класса Джамаран способен перевозить ракеты земля-земля, земля-воздух, а также имеет вертолетную площадку и радарные возможности, по данным IRNA. Эсминец должен будет пройти еще ряд испытаний, прежде чем он начнет функционировать.

LINKS Europe Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the chairs/co-chairs of the five thematic groups within the initiative.
