Соглашение об Ассоциации ЕС-Грузия вступит в полную силу 1 июля

Соглашение об ассоциации (AA) между Европейским Союзом и Грузией, переговоры по которому начались в июле 2010 года, вступит в силу 1 июля. Об этом подтвердили в понедельник вечером на заседании Совета по иностранным делам Европейского союза в Брюсселе.

В 2014 году стороны подписали Соглашение, но для вступления в силу его нужно было ратифицировать национальными парламентами всех 28 стран-членов ЕС. Бельгия стала последней страной, которая ратифицировала его в декабре 2015 года.

"Подписание Соглашения об ассоциации это еще одна важная дата в истории отношений между ЕС и Грузией", заявил глава МИД Грузии.

Европейский Союз такого рода Соглашений подписал со многими странами на его периферии, в том числе на Ближнем Востоке, в Северной Африке и Восточной Европе, а также со странами Западной Европы, которые не являются членами ЕС, с такими как Норвегия и Лихтенштейн. Соглашения об ассоциации с Молдовой и Украиной были подписаны, но пока еще не ратифицированы.

"Процесс политического объединения Грузии и экономической интеграции, которая включает в себя реализацию европейских политических, торгово-экономических, социальных и юридических норм, ускорится и станет необратимым", сказал министр иностранных дел Грузии.
