Разрешение карабахского конфликта - приоритетная задача в повестке председательствования Ирландии в ОБСЕ

Пути достижения прогресса в деле разрешения замороженных конфликтов в зоне ОБСЕ является приоритетной задачей председательствования Ирландии в ОБСЕ в 2012 году. Об этом заявил заместитель премьер-министра и министр по иностранным делам и торговли Ирландии Имон Гилмор (Eamon Gilmore), выступая 12 января в постоянном Совете ОБСЕ в Вене.

Как сообщили АрмИнфо в пресс-службе штаб-квартиры ОБСЕ, представитель Ирландии приветствовал возобновление официальных переговоров 5+2 по приднестровскому процессу урегулирования конфликта, предложил “полную поддержку работе Минской группы ОБСЕ в деле разрешения нагорно-карабахского конфликта», а также женевским переговорам между Россией и Грузией. “В Ирландии мы очень хорошо знаем цену разрушительным конфликтам. Посредством переговоров, компромисса и приверженности двух правительств и лидеров стран, было достигнуто урегулирование конфликта в Северной Ирландии», - заявил Гилмор. Он добавил, что этот опыт может принести пользу и посодействовать усилиям, необходимым для разрешения конфликтов в зоне ОБСЕ, используя методы мирных переговоров и согласованных форматов и при уважении принципов международного закона. “Каждый конфликт уникален, и я надеюсь, что делясь своим опытом, мы поможем сторонам, которые находятся в поиске решения конфликтов», - подчеркнул Гилмор.
