Семь человек погибли в перестрелке между боевиками и полицией в Чечне

Четверо боевиков и трое полицейских были убиты в перестрелке в столице Чечни, в Грозном, во вторник утром.

Российское информационное агентство ТАСС сообщило, что сотрудники правоохранительных органов России обнаружили боевиков в Октябрьском районе Грозного. Агентство сообщило, что боевики отказались сдаться, после чего начальник УФСБ по Чеченской Республике принял решение о проведении контртеррористической операции.

Этот инцидент является одним из самых серьезных, о котором сообщалось в чеченской столице за последние годы, и указывает на то, что угроза со стороны исламских боевиков, о которой российские власти продолжают заявлять, что она полностью нейтрализована, фактически сохраняется.
