МИД Греции выразил протест Турции из-за инцидента в Эгейском море

Министерство иностранных дел Греции заявило протест Турции в связи с опасным инцидентом возле островов Имиа в Эгейском море.

Как сообщает греческая сторона, в понедельник вечером "в греческих территориальных водах восточнее Имиа турецкий патрульный катер совершал опасные маневры в нарушение международных правил предупреждения столкновений судов, и столкнулся с кормой по левому борту корабля "090" греческой береговой охраны, который патрулировал в этом районе". По данным береговой охраны, корабль получил повреждения, члены экипажа не пострадали.

Президент Турции Реджеп Тайип Эрдоган заявил, что инцидент не вызвал проблем, но вину за него возложил на греков, которые «растерялись» и не ушли от столкновения.

Премьер-министр Турции Бинали Йылдырым во время разговора по телефону с главой Правительства Греции Алексисом Ципрасом призвал Афины снизить напряжённость в Эгейском море.

Главы турецкого и греческого правительств сошлись во мнении, что возникшую проблему необходимо решать путём диалога, поэтому было решено провести встречу министров обороны обеих стран.
