Лавров с пренебрежением говорит об усилиях ОБСЕ по посредничеству в белорусском кризисе

Министр иностранных дел России Сергей Лавров с пренебрежением высказался о попытке Организации по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе (ОБСЕ) выступить посредником в нынешнем политическом кризисе в Беларуси.

В четверг (20 августа) Лавров по инициативе албанской стороны провел телефонный разговор с премьер-министром, министром Европы и иностранных дел Албании и действующим председателем ОБСЕ Эди Рамой.

В заявлении, размещенном на сайте МИД России, говорится, что "события в Беларуси обсуждались в контексте предложений албанского председательства в ОБСЕ по содействию диалогу между властями и оппозицией. Министр отметил, что необходимо дать белорусам возможность самостоятельно решать свои вопросы без вмешательства в диалог власти и общества и навязывания чего-либо извне, а также избежать трагического опыта «европейского посредничества» подобно в Украине в феврале 2014 года".

Ранее нынешнее председательство Албании в организации европейской безопасности из 57 государств-членов вместе со Швецией, которая принимает председательство в январе, предложили посетить Беларусь для посредничества в нынешнем тупике между правительством и оппозицией после неудачных президентских выборов.

The Israeli military said it had received all 20 hostages confirmed to be alive, after their transfer form Gaza by the Red Cross. The announcement prompted cheering, hugging and weeping among thousands waiting at "Hostage Square" in Tel Aviv. In Gaza, thousands of relatives, many weeping with joy, gathered at a hospital where buses brought home some of the nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees to be freed by Israel as part of the accord. "The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace," Trump told the Knesset, Israel's parliament, saying a "long nightmare" for both Israelis and Palestinians was over.
