ЕС отзывает своего посла в России из-за дела Скрипаля

Лидеры стран ЕС официально согласились с правительством Великобритании в том, что Россия с очень высокой степенью вероятности несет ответственность за нападение в Солсбери с применением нервно-паралитического вещества, сообщает Русская служба Би-Би-Си.

По итогам переговоров, продолжавшихся в Брюсселе до поздней ночи, Европейский совет выпустил заявление, в котором говорится, что лидеры сошлись во мнении о том, что у инцидента в Солсбери "нет никакого другого убедительного объяснения".

"Мы безоговорочно поддерживаем Соединенное Королевство перед лицом этого дерзкого вызова нашей коллективной безопасности", - говорится в опубликованном совместном заявлении лидеров.

Постоянный представитель ЕС в России отозван из Москвы "для консультаций".
