"ЕС намерен инвестировать в образование и инновации в Армении"

Европейский Союз планирует инвестировать в образование и инновационный сектор Армении после подписания нового расширенного соглашения о партнерстве. Об этом заявил комиссар ЕС по вопросам расширения и политики соседства Йоханнес Хан во время визита в Ереван в понедельник (2 октября). Хан сказал, что развитие навыков станет ключом к будущему развитию Армении.

Выступая в Ереване на брифинге вместе с министром иностранных дел Эдуардом Налбандяном, комиссар Хан заявил, что в интересах Европейского союза "иметь сильную, стабильную и процветающую Армению на Южном Кавказе, способствующую дальнейшей стабилизации нашего соседства".

По словам Хана, Армения и ЕС "скоро" подпишут новое всеобъемлющее и расширенное соглашение о партнерстве. "Это новаторское новое соглашение поможет продемонстрировать, что Армения может быть частью процессов Евразийской интеграции, одновременно устанавливая расширенные и всеобъемлющие отношения с Союзом". По словам Хана, это будет первое соглашение такого рода между ЕС и страной восточного региона. "Нам интересно посмотреть, как новое соглашение будет реализовано", - добавил он.

В Ереване Хан встретился с президентом Сержем Саргсяном, премьер-министром Карапетяном и министром иностранных дел Налбандяном.

"The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace," Trump told the Knesset, Israel's parliament, saying a "long nightmare" for both Israelis and Palestinians was over.
