Азербайджан возлагает надежду в разрешении карабахского конфликта на "серьезное участие России"

"Россия как сопредседатель Минской группы ОБСЕ и соседнее государство должна прилагать еще больше усилий для скорейшего урегулирования конфликта. Полностью уверен, что если Россия займется вопросом со всей серьезностью, тогда статус-кво будет изменен, в регионе восстановится стабильность и будет обеспечен вывод армянских войск с оккупированных территорий Азербайджана." Об этом заявил министр иностранных дел Азербайджана Эльмар Мамедъяров в интервью агентству АПА во вторник (17 января).

Мамедъяров прокомментировал раннее сделанные министром иностранных дел России Сергеем Лавровым в Москве ссылки на различные вопросы, связанные с конфликтом.

Мамедъяров подтвердил слова президента Ильхама Алиева в интервью информационному агентству "Спутник" относительно будущего статуса Нагорного Карабаха. "Глава нашего государства заявил, что компромисса в вопросе территориальной целостности Азербайджана быть не может, однако возможен компромисс по вопросам местного самоуправления, самоуправления Нагорного Карабаха, как автономной республики", - сказал в своем интервью для АПА Мамедъяров .

UK, Canada and majority of EU Member States condemn Israel for ‘inhumane killing’ and say the war in Gaza ‘must end now’.

Israel’s isolation is increasing as twenty eight countries including the United Kingdom and a majority of Member States of the European Union issued a joint statement on Monday 21 July saying the war in Gaza “must end now” and condemning Israel over 'inhumane killing' of Gaza civilians seeking aid. The foreign ministers of countries, also including Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Japan, said “the suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths.” The statement described as “horrifying” the recent deaths of over 800 Palestinians who were seeking aid, according to the figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry and the U.N. human rights office.
