Армения направила гуманитарную миссию в Сирию

Армянская миссия, состоящая из экспертов по разминированию, медицинского персонала и сопровождающей группы безопасности, прибыла в сирийский город Алеппо. В заявлении министерства обороны Армении говорится, что миссия носит строго гуманитарный характер и будет развернута только в районах, где не происходило продолжающихся боевых действий.

В заявлении подчеркивается, что Миссия находится в Сирии при полном письменном одобрении сирийского правительства и развернута в ответ на резолюций Совета Безопасности ООН, принятые в 2017 и 2018 годах, с учетом большой армянской общины в Алеппо. В заявлении добавлено, что армянский контингент был переброшен в Алеппо на самолетах, предоставленных Россией.
