Министр ИД Латвии: Альтернативы мирному разрешению карабахского конфликта нет

Альтернативы мирному разрешению карабахского конфликта нет. Об этом 15 ноября на совместной пресс-конференции главой МИД Армении Эдвардом Налбандяном заявил министр иностранных дел Латвии Эдгарс Ринкевичс.

"Я вновь готов подписаться под документом, о том, что карабахский конфликт должен разрешиться посредствам мирных переговоров. Конечно же, есть разочарованность тем, что в переговорном процессе нет ощутимой динамики, но, думаю, в скором времени ситуация изменится",- заявил латвийский министр.

Отвечая на вопрос о том, что Уругвай готов признать независимость НКР, может ли в ближайшем будущем с подобной инициативой выступить и Латвия, Ринкевичс подчеркнул, что существуют международные структуры, занимающиеся этой проблемой на основе трех основополагающих хельсинкских принципов - территориальная целостность государств, право народов на самоопределение и неприменение силы.  "Карабахский конфликт должен разрешиться на основе этих принципов. Латвия пока не готова следовать примеру Уругвая. Думаю этот путь не пойдет на пользу переговорному процессу, сейчас необходимо все внимание уделить именно переговорам посредством которых  должен разрешиться конфликт",- подытожил дипломат.
