Махмуд Ахмадинежад придает важность реализации экономических проектов между Тегераном и Ереваном

 

Президент Ирана Махмуд Ахмадинежад повторил необходимость реализации совместных экономических проектов между Тегераном и Ереваном.

Как сообщают иранские источники, на встрече с министром ИД Армении Эдвардом Налбандяном, президент Ирана подчеркнул, что "Иран придает большую важность имплементации совместных экономических проектов с Арменией".

В ходе встречи Налбандян передал письмо президента Армении Сержа Саргсяна своему иранскому коллеге. Согласно иранским источникам, в ходе своего визита в Тегеран, глава МИД Армении провел встречу со своим иранским коллегой Али Акбар Салехи, на которой обсуждалось дальнейшее развитие дружественных отношений, а также деятельность армяно-иранской межправительственной комиссии. Стороны обсудили вопросы двустороннего сотрудничества, обменявшись мнениями о возможности расширения правового поля для дальнейшего взаимодействия. Кроме того, глава МИД Ирана подробно рассказал о последних развитиях в связи с ядерной программой страны.  Налбандян, в свою очередь, выразил удовлетворение положительной тенденцией, зафиксированной с момента последней встречи сторон по данному вопросу.

Отметим, что основными крупными совместными инвестиционными проектами являются строительство Мегринской ГЭС на реке Аракс (стоимостью в $323 млн), нефтепродуктопровода от иранского Тебриза до армянского Ерасха ($100 млн), строительство ЛЭП ($100 млн) и строительство железной дороги Иран-Армения. ($2.0 млрд). Согласно статистики армянской стороны, внешнеторговый оборот между странами за 2011 год составил порядка $324 млн с отрицательным сальдо в $111 млн.

European Union leaders have appealed to U.S. President Donald Trump to defend their security interests at a summit with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Friday 15 August over the war in Ukraine. EU leaders are doing their best to exert some influence over the summit that they have been sidelined from. It remains unclear whether even Ukraine will take part but EU leaders underlined that “the path to peace in Ukraine cannot be decided without Ukraine.” According to AP, Trump has said that he wants to see whether Putin is serious about ending the war now in its fourth year. In a statement on Tuesday 12 August, EU leaders said that they “welcome the efforts of President Trump towards ending Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.” The European Union will make a fresh attempt to rally Trump to Ukraine’s cause on Wednesday at virtual meetings convened by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Trump did not confirm whether he would take part, but he stated: “I’m going to get everybody’s ideas” before meeting with Putin.
