Лидеры “Союза за Народное движение” и оппозиционной социалистической партии поддерживают принятие законопроекта о криминализации отрицания Геноцида армян

Лидеры правящей партии Франции “Союз за Народное движение” и оппозиционной социалистической партии, которая составляет большинство в парламенте, поддерживают принятие законопроекта о криминализации отрицания Геноцида армян. Об этом сообщает европейское Бюро Радио «Радио Свобода».  

Сегодня в Сенате Франции пройдет слушание по законопроекту, представленному депутатом от “Союза за народное движение” Валери Буайе о криминализации отрицания геноцидов, в том числе Геноцида армян.

В интервью AFP, председатель Сената Франции от Социалистической партии Жан-Пьер Бель выступает за принятие данного законопроекта. Жан-Пьер Бель заявил, что законопроект - “не мемориальный закон”, и что он “будет придерживаться” позиции фракции Социалистической партии в пользу текста. “Это не мемориальный закон. Я принадлежу к политической группе, которая заняла позицию, и моя позиция будет такой же. Я принял к сведению регистрацию правительством этого законопроекта, это старая тема, здесь есть особое восприятие у сенаторов”, – заявил глава Сената. Он добавил, что Комиссия по конституционным законам выразила свое мнение. “Это было временем обсуждений в Комиссии по законам, будет и время дебатов, выбора и голосования на заседании в понедельник”, – отметил председатель Сената.
