Европейский эксперт:

Ереван и Баку «потеряли аппетит» в вопросе достижения дальнейшего прогресса по мирному урегулированию карабахского конлфликта. Такое мнение в беседе с АрмИнфо выразила научный сотрудник Европейского совета по международным отношениям (European Council for Foreign Relations) Яна Кобзова.

“Эффективность работы Минской группы ОБСЕ непосредственно зависит не от нее самой - ответственность за это, главным образом, несут Армения и Азербайджан”, - подметила эксперт. Она добавила, что в начале года при поддержке сопредседателей МГ ОБСЕ Россия попыталась оживить процесс, но ее усилия оказались тщетными из-за позиций Баку и Еревана.

“Международные игроки призывают Армению и Азербайджан выполнить свои обязательства по так называемым мадридским принципам. МГ ОБСЕ может предоставить выгодную площадку, но не может подменить то, что в настоящее время кажется «потерей аппетита” как в Ереване, так и в Баку относительно необходимости добиваться дальнейшего прогресса на переговорах”, - отметила Кобзова.
