Азербайджан использует энергетический фактор, оказывая давление на Турцию.
Как передает корреспондент АрмИнфо, подобное мнение сегодня выразил политический обозреватель стамбульской газеты Taraf Озгюн Озчер в ходе круглого стола "Армяно-турецкие протоколы спустя 2 года: Освещение в СМИ и общественное восприятие". Мероприятие проходит в Армении в курортном местечке Агверан.
По словам журналиста, это давление Баку оказывает каждый раз, когда Анкара пытается воздействовать на внешнюю и внутреннюю политику Азербайджана.


"В целом Баку более свободен в своих действиях, чем Анкара, учитывая фактор России. В случае необходимости Азербайджан в любой момент может перевести вектор своего стратегического сотрудничества с Турции на Россию", - сказал он.


В качестве примера свое
образности азербайджано-турецких отношений эксперт отметил позицию Баку по проблеме Северного Кипра - несмотря на оказываемое Анкарой давление, Азербайджан так и не признал независимость Северного Кипра, при этом аргументы Баку для Турции так и остались неясными. Озчер также подчеркнул, что в глазах Турции и народа Азербайджан является ее частью.


"Соответственно ожидать от Эрдогана и его правительства проявления политической храбрости в отношениях с Арменией не приходится", - подытожил журналист.
