Мамедъяров: Давайте работать над мирным соглашением, вместо базовых принципов.

Министр иностранных дел Азербайджана Эльмар Мамедъяров предложил вместо того, чтобы продолжать обсуждение базовых принципов урегулирования нагорно-карабахского конфликта Армения и Азербайджан должны сосредоточиться на разработке мирного договора.

Интерфакс-Азербайджан цитирует Мамедъярова: "Азербайджан продолжает оставаться на той же позиции, что и в 2010 году после Сочи. Мы готовы приступить к разработке текста мирного соглашения при понимании того, что было наработано. Казань позволила нам продвинуться дальше. Мы понимали, что есть еще несогласованные элементы, но они в любом случае должны найти отражение в мирном договоре, и если на самом деле есть добрая воля, то давайте сразу над ним работать, не ожидая следующего этапа переговоров по базовым принципам."

"Я считаю, что определенный прогресс достигнут, и мы можем спокойно выходить на мирное соглашение."

На вопрос, когда Азербайджан готов начать с армянской стороной переговоры по мирному соглашению, министр ответил: "Хоть сегодня."

"Многие СМИ пишут о том, что встреча в Казани не увенчалась успехом, но я не согласен с этим." - сказал Мамедъяров ссылаясь на казанскую встречу Президентов России, Азербайджана и Армении, состоявшуюся 24 июня.

"Я согласен больше с позицией того, что во-первых, как это и отражено в заявлении президентов, что сближение произошло, и во вторых, мы - Азербайджан и Армения - должны продолжить переговоры безо всяких пиаров, истерики, работать по сближению позиций." - сказал министр.

"The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace," Trump told the Knesset, Israel's parliament, saying a "long nightmare" for both Israelis and Palestinians was over.
